Reds Series–We’re Tired of Seeing You

This series with the Reds started off well, but the Cubs used up all of their runs in the first game of the series, unfortunately. We warned them about that.

The season might be winding down for these two teams, but there’s still some fun found at the ballpark.

We feel that the children need stricter supervision.

-Congratulations to Ryan Dempster for the Clemente Award nomination!

-8 batters to the plate and three runs scored in the first inning of the first game. Len and Bob compared it to a taffy pull.

-Pena and Byrd with a two run homer a piece in the first inning of the last game.

-Other homers in the series include Bakers, Ramirez’s, and Castro’s two run bomb.

-Barney once again tying it up in the 9th.

-John Gaub’s debut. Welcome to the show!

-Otis out and about. He’s rarely seen and so it’s nice to see him sporting shorts and sanitary socks while strolling the park.

-Bark and the Park and the endless jokes and commentary (I don’t think Len and Bob have had such a good time…not since that guy fell out of the stands in Milwaukee, anyway).

-Bob trying to catch a foul ball.

-The very intricate handshakes done in the dugout these days.
