Pirates Series–That’s Enough, D-Lee

There was a time when a D-Lee grand slam at Wrigley Field was a fantastic thing. When he’s playing for the Pirates and ends up as a walk-off for their team, that’s not one of those times. It was nice to see you, D-Lee. That’ll do.

At least the Cubs got a chance to have a little fun, too.

Victory hugs never get old.

-Dempster and Casey Coleman getting hits and Randy Wells getting two sac bunts. We like seeing pitchers getting it done on the offensive side.

-Soriano racking up the RBIs

-Pena racking up the homers

-The ivy trying to eat Tony Campana (we should have warned him about that).

-Len saying that it looked like Casey Coleman wasn’t going to shave until he got a win.

-Bryan LaHair going 2-4 with an RBI in his Cubs debut.

-Randy Wells getting undressed/dressed in the dugout. Sorry there was no music (we did have dollar bills, though).

-Len and Bob with the stretch. Always a good time.

-Jon Lovitz with the stretch. Well sung and he was a hoot in the booth. “Will you do your job?!”
