Pirates Series– Losses Arrrr Vexing

Two more losses to the Pirates. We can only be thankful that they didn’t get the sweep. And though Randy Wells and Geovany Soto made it back from the DL (sending Casey Coleman and Wellington Castillo back to Iowa) and we acquired a new pitcher in Rodrigo Lopez, we lost Reed Johnson to the 15-Day (hello, Brad Snyder!) and Andrew Cashner was moved to the 60-Day.

Also the weather continued it’s crappy streak.

Desperate times like these call for desperate measures. Fun, the illustrated edition.

"Of course we're not plotting against you."

Wells, Marshall, and Dempster are all standing like they're in a white rap group from the 90's and Garza, Russell, and Samardzija know it.

This is the Big Z we like to see.

The ivy claims another victim...

...and another.

Now the birds are angry.

How many Pirates does it take to catch a pop fly?

We'd think the tongue hanging out would cause wind resistance, but hey...whatever it takes to win.
