Brewers Series: A Smack in the Face

That last game was brutal (just ask Starlin Castro‘s face) and a total heartbreaker, but there were still some fun moments scattered in there. Just not all of them on the field.

Hi, Casey!

Fun stuff from this series:

Casey Coleman. Sure he’s up because Randy Wells and Andrew Cashner are on the DL and he did give up two 2-run homers, but he laid down  two sac bunts and hit a double. And the alliteration of his name is fun.

Jeff Baker. He went 4 for 5 in the first game, smacking the hell out of left-handed pitching once again. People act surprised when he does well. We enjoy their slack-jawed expressions.

-Len and Bob discussing electric razors. And the brat count.

Mike Quade getting riled up over a call. We didn’t think we’d see him riled up so soon.

Marlon Byrd sliding home. The man has serious sliding style.

-Shots of Ryan Dempster in the dugout.

Aramis Ramirez hitting three doubles in one game.

Kosuke Fukudome‘s two fantastic catches. Another guy people are suprised is good and we enjoy their shock.

-The racing sausages peeking over the wall.

Okay, that last one was really more creepy than fun.
